Our services can be classified by:

Market

1. Technical Documentation (Techdocs) - These publications are usually Desktop Publishing-intensive and will often involve a lot of illustration work. Examples are operator, maintenance or parts manuals, textbooks, proposals, company policy / procedures manuals and WHMIS sheets.
2. Indexing - Creation of a back-of-the-book index for all types of non-fiction publications. This is not an automatic function like generating tables of content, figures of tables. Indexing requires the skill of someone able to put themselves in the position of a reader seeking information as efficiently as possible.
3. Business Communications - At the heart of this type of writing is a marketing message. The style is more emotional than techdocs and is generally referred to as ‘copywriting’. It encompasses brochures, web sites, blogs, e-zines (newsletters ‘pushed’ to customers via email) or more traditional printed newsletters.
4. Product Photography - Professional results to enhance your web presence or brochure content.

Supporting Activities

1. Writing - Copywriting or the creation of techdocs from inputs provided by the client and/or by interviewing designated resource persons.
2. Editing - Review of client-supplied material for spelling, grammatical and style problems, and rewriting of text as needed.
3. Proofreading - Review of client-supplied material for spelling and grammatical errors only.
4. Desktop Publishing (DTP) - Integration of text and graphics (can be client-supplied) into a finished document format, or book.
